Mothers for Africa the Nana Sekyiaabea Foundation received its beginnings in Ghana, West Africa. The president Nehanda Sankofa-Ra and vice president Cheryl Faheem founders of Mothers for Africa began their charitable quest 45 minutes outside of Accra, Ghana in a village named Ahwerase Akuapem.
